Why do we collect demands?
The CARE STRIKE 2027 is coming! Because:
Care work is in crisis. It is in crisis because it is organized within a system that is geared toward profit, which means that care work is systematically underpaid, made invisible, and must be performed with too little time, staff, and resources.
We want to hear YOUR demands as to why a care strike is urgently needed!
What is care work?
Care work means providing care and caring and is the basis for the functioning of our society and affects everyone: people are dependent on care.
For us, care work encompasses all forms of care work that are directly or indirectly oriented toward people’s basic needs. This means that we understand care work to include physical care, parenting, work in education, work in the supply industry, as well as cleaning work, sex work, and care work for the environment.

What does not belong in the demands?
Any hateful comments or discriminatory statements. Therefore, the demands are reviewed before they are published.
What happens to my data when I submit demands?
The data will not be passed on to third parties. We do not collect any personal data from you.
What determines whether demands appear on the website?
In principle, no demands are rejected on the basis of their content, as long as they are related to care work. Care work is understood in a very broad sense (see question “What is care work?”). We do not take responsibility for the content as long as it is relevant to the topic.
In which language can I write the demands?
You can enter demands in the language of your choice. They will be displayed in the original language. We have a translation tool on the website that translates the content we provide, but not the demands.
